Paeonia Lactiflora Alexander Fleming

Pioenroos Alexander Fleming

Blonk from Holland (from before 1950)

Alexander Fleming, sometimes called Dr. Alexander Fleming, is one of the famous Peonies. It’s a very old variety but still one of the best. This beautiful, of purest pink, double peony is an absolute winner. With the slight fragrance is the Alexander Fleming blooming in the middle late season. With flowers up to 15 cm and the dark foliage it’s often used for the production of cut flowers as well for landscaping in gardens and city parks. Every year older the plant gives more and more flowers.
