H.P. Sass/Bongers (1938)
Dr. F. G. Brethour is a top peony. This peony has a beautiful crop and strong stems. Also a fantastic bud with full, double, white flowers. Dr. F. G. Brethour gives a lot of flowers, therefore it needs to be cut at the right stage. What an asset. This mid late peony is very limited available. There are a few growers who grow this one, while first they want to cut the flowers themselves. Finally, Dr. F. G. Brethour is only available for export on request. Great for southern Europe. This variety has to be discovered yet, but we are aware of this one for a while. It seems like Dr. F. G. Brethour is going to be a real hit. Specialists can handle this breed very well. Certainly a welcome addition to the range.
