Fawkner (2001)
Quitzin is one of the first double peonies to be cut. This one is very early and just after the first single-flowered peonies. With beautiful double cream-yellow-green flowers really something extraordinary. The large special buds give a great bucket presentation. Quitzin appears to be immense popular in exports all around the world (especially Russia). Certainly both the flowers and the plants sell themselves. This early peony has to be discovered yet and furthermore will become a great one for the specialists. This is too special for Retail. Quitzin is doing fine in southern Europe. A funny peony that will certainly pay a good price at the Dutch auctions in the coming years.
