Tolomeo (1996)
Sonoma Sun is a semi-filled to filled Itoh Hybrid or Intersectional. With butter yellow flowers and light orange flares. While the flowers scent softly and grow up to 17 cm, this peony is highly recommended for gardens and parks around the world. The foliage is a welcome decoration and remains green until the frost when it turns into beautiful Indian summer colors. Sonoma Sun blooms in the midseason and needs a few years to grow into an adult plant.
