Keith Swenson acquired the last seedlings from USA breeder Roger Anderson in 2013. Peony Hybrid Majesty’s Scepter is one of the unique varieties from this interesting nursery.
Majesty’s Scepter is a very early semi double pink peony with special flowers and a beautiful bud presentation. The flowers open with a pastel salmon color and soft light yellow at the base of petals, then fade as they mature through blush pink to cream. A beautiful color in the right period when there is no pastel pink at the market yet. Majesty’s Scepter is a very fast grower and promises to be a majestic peony. Majesty’s Scepter is extremely suitable for cut flower cultivation. This peony is perfectly suitable for outdoor cultivation, the greenhouse in Holland and also in Southern Europe.
